Chandra is a folk singer who grew up as an orphan with his sister in a small village. He is a dedicated artist and does not care about money or other material possessions. The villagers love and respect his talents and rare gift and try to take care of his basic needs as far as possible. His fame is such that when neighboring villages are struggling with drought, they request him to help bring rainfall.
One day, Radhika comes to Chandra’s village from the city searching for him. She is fun loving and pranks the villagers initially about the reason why she has come. In reality, she is a representative of the State Awards committee who have decided to honor Chandra with a prestigious award and cash gifts. Chandra respectfully continues to state that his commitment is to his art and his village. Radhika is impressed and decides to stay back in the village leaving the comforts of her wealthy life in the city. She plans to write a book on Chandra and his art.
Though everyone in the village are fond of Chandra, he has some enemies whose only problem with him is extreme jealousy. Will they be successful and what will happen between Radhika and Chandra…
