Raidurga is a smart city in North Karnataka. Many years ago it was a small village. On a TV debate, religious leaders are shocked when they hear that this city does not have any temples, mosques or churches. Three of them decide to visit Raidurga to find out this strange situation.
When they reach there, they are greeted by a sign that says You are allowed inside only if you don’t believe in caste or religion. They ask an old lady living there to explain how this happened. She tells them the story from 30 years ago when Hindus and Muslims lived there in harmony. They helped each other without any communal tension and participated in each other’s religious festivals. But one year, the drought was very severe and water shortage became a big problem. People became so desperate that they would not steal gold but water instead. As the drought continued, things also changed and the harmony that existed in the village began to get threatened.
