He is famous and respected in the village and requested for any help required by the villagers. He loves his sister and does anything she asks him for even if it is some silly childish thing like cutting off her friend’s long hair after she made fun of her hair. He is planning to marry his sister off but has big plans for her and doesn’t want her to go to another small village with her future husband. Whenever any proposals from small villages without facilities like mills comes, he rejects them saying his sister should not struggle and should live in comfort after marriage. In this situation, one day, a young man visits the village and while offering prayers by mistake hits Gowri with a broken coconut shell. She complains to Veera who beats the boy up and is about to kill him when he says he’s from Bengaluru and wants to merry Gowri after seeing her. Veera gets excited because this is what he had dreamed about. But things don’t go smoothly in this sentimental drama about a brother’s love for his sister.
